University of New York (UNYP)

University of New York in Prague was founded in 1998 in partnership with the State University of New York, allowing students to earn an internationally recognized American bachelor’s degree. It also collaborates with New York College in Athens, Greece, which has over 20 years of experience offering international undergraduate, master’s, and MBA programs. UNYP’s programs follow American teaching styles, focusing on critical thinking, communication, research, and professional specialization. All classes are taught in English. Today, UNYP is the largest English-language higher education institution in the Czech Republic, hosting over 800 students from more than 60 countries. Its faculty of 120 instructors, mostly native English speakers from over 30 countries, blends Czech academic traditions with American and European educational practices.
